THABA E KHOLO (Sesotho for Big Mountain)

The champagne race at the Amohela, it’s most certainly not for sissies as we trade out distance for elevation gained in the foothills of the might Maluti Mountains that tower over us. The altitude takes attitude.

THABA E NYENYANE (Sesotho for Small Mountain)

Don’t get us wrong, there is no such thing as a small mountain around the picturesque village of Clarens. The Thaba e Nyenyane route just trades out a little distance and several major climbs to cater for those who are keen for a lighter day out on the legs with all the views.

Day One 38km | 850m ascent
Day Two 51km | 650m ascent

Individual Entry Fee : R995 pp
Team Entry Fee : R1735

Keen to try out racing in Big Mountain Country but afraid that you don’t have the legs for 2 days of it? Then this is for you.

Riders can choose from either one of the stage race Day Two options to ride in when entering.
